Having been a creative foundation in the Portland area music scene, Tony has explored his art and inspiration that drove that passion. In that exploration, he discovered the need to explore and better himself through Marsha Linehan’s DBT Methods.

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy, focused on teaching people how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others.

We’ll discuss our similarities in that quest, and how applying those methods have helped our progress. Perhaps you can relate?

There’s something magical about the combined voices of twin dynamos Darcy and Christie Bradley. Mick Fleetwood knows what’s up… he chose to have them performing at his venue for NYE in Maui, Hawaii. We chatted live about their inspired upbringing, how they find balance, and they treat us to a couple of great holiday songs!

Of course, you know Jennifer Batten from her tenure with Michael Jackson and Jeff Beck, but she’s got a remarkable solo career that I was fortunate enough to be a tiny part of for a minute. Now she’s passing on her knowledge with the help of a group of top-notch guitarists with her Guitar Cloud Symposium (www.guitarcloudsymposium.com), which will have a special appearance by Steve Vai! We’ll discuss those details, reflect on Eddie Van Halen’s inspiration, and whatever crazy fun stories she has, because she has them all.

The Floydian Slips are not just a remarkable tribute to Pink Floyd… This Oregon-based ensemble recreates the EXPERIENCE one might have had, seeing Pink Floyd in their heyday. Ned and Paul are both founding members of that band, as well as icons in the Portland music scene dating back to their early meeting at Santa Clara University in the late 80s. We look back to their formative years, and catch up to today, touching on Paul’s new album “What You Hold Near” (July 2020) and a Ned’s new recording with Mexican Gunfight. When my studio internet connection dropped, Paul and Ned kept the conversation going like champs… thanks for the hang, gents!
