Erica is an awesome, dynamic, unsigned and original three-piece band hailing from sleepy Winchcombe, a small town in Gloucestershire.

Having now enjoyed success twice in national battle of the band’s competitions, Erica has been streamed live to over 2 million viewers on Italian television station RAI in April 2017 and opened V Fest in Chelmsford in 2015.

Their debut album ‘Sons of the High Land’ was released in 2014 and was credited with 4/5 stars by Kerrang. Their second album Hollow Moon was released in August 2016 to critical acclaim on iTunes.

Erica is regularly played on radio stations in the United Kingdom and worldwide plus been interviewed and had tracks broadcast on BBC Introducing and can now boast close to 1 million downloads on Spotify.

The band has played many festivals including Underdogs Live for Union Jack Radio, Conrad’s Ride, Dubs of Anarchy, Phoenix Festival, Off The Tracks, Bath Festival and Livestock. They will be playing the main stage again this year at Lakefest where they have become firm favourites. The band performs regularly at The Fleece in Bristol, where, opening for A Flock of Seagulls, I was floored by the band’s performance. The trio is TIGHT, the songs infectious, and man, can they put on a SHOW. You’ll see what I mean when we chat with them live!

One of my first arch-rivals, Jim and I were 2 Montanans aiming for the stars. Before I actually knew him, I wanted to crush his spirit. Then Facebook brought us together, and he’s one of my favorite humans on the planet. Sigh… teenagers! Now Jim’s a reputed schoolteacher in the Midlands in the United Kingdom, active in his community and continues to inspire kids musically and intellectually. We’re gonna geek out about the old days, and you can come make fun of us if you’d like to.
