Michael Ciravolo was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and moved to Los Angeles as a founding member of HUMAN DRAMA. MC Joined Michael and Jay Aston for the Gene Loves Jezebel reunion tour in 1997.  When the twins ongoing feud resurfaced, MC continued with Michael Aston playing live as well as co-writing two albums; ‘Love Lies Bleeding’ and ‘Exploding Girl’. MC rejoined the other original members of Human Drama to record ‘Broken Songs for Broken People’,  Feeling a bit frustrated with the album’s direction, MC was encouraged to ‘record his own album’ by Michael Rozon in late 2017.

Ciravolo and his BIC cohort and producer Michael Rozon started writing songs for what became ‘finding beauty in chaos’ released in Sept 2018.  With MC at the helm as ‘curator’, a host of diverse and singers lent their talents and voices to Beauty In Chaos:

  • Wayne Hussey (The Mission)
  • Ashton Nyte (The Awakening)
  • Robin Zander (Cheap Trick)
  • Dug Pinnick (Kings X)
  • Al Jourgensen (Ministry)
  • Ice T
  • Johnny Indovina (Human Drama)
  • Michael Aston (GLJ)
  • Michael Anthony (Van Halen)
  • Simon Gallup (The Cure)

Ciravolo decided to follow up this debut double album with a ‘remix’ album ‘Beauty Re-Envisioned’…. Tyring the tracks over to a cast of artists, deejay and producers, including Tim Palmer (Tin Machine, U2, Tears For Fears) and John Fryer (NIN, Stabbing Westward, This Mortal Coil). For what for a fleeting moment was Ciravolo’s solo album has turned into a world-wide evolving revolving entity that has now release four (4)  Studio albums and four (4)  ‘re-envision’ albums in 6 years.
