UNEXPECTED DUETS WORLD PREMIERE: SARAH MOON & TIM DEQ

Musician, vocalist, and creative producer Sarah Moon announces the premiere of Unexpected Duets: Part Deux, the newest installment of her imaginative performance series. The season debuts Thursday, May 28 at 5 PM PST on All Access Live with Kevin Rankin.

Created and curated by Moon, Unexpected Duets is a deeply personal project. An artistic space where she can rebuild songs exactly as they appear in her mind and collaborate with musicians she doesn’t usually have the opportunity to work with. The result is a series defined by bold reinterpretations, surprising pairings, and the kind of musical chemistry that only happens when artists step outside their usual lanes.

“Unexpected Duets is my pet project,” says Moon. “It’s where I get to chase the version of a song that lives in my head and bring in musicians I admire but rarely get the chance to collaborate with. Every duet becomes its own little experiment in connection and reinvention.”

Part Deux expands the series’ signature approach with new arrangements, unexpected vocal combinations, and a lineup of performers who bring their own distinct textures to each track. Episodes are filmed in intimate studio settings, capturing the spontaneity, vulnerability, and joy of musicians creating something unrepeatable together.

The new season premieres exclusively on All Access Live with Kevin Rankin on Thursday, May 28 at 5 PM PST, with additional episodes rolling out throughout the season.
